Prof. Jinghong Li as a Professor of Chemistry at Key Laboratory of Bioorganic Phosphorus  Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University is currently the deputy director of Analysis Center of Tsinghua University and the vice-director of the Key Laboratory of Bioorganic Phosphorus Chemistry and Chemical Biology (Ministry of Education). He received Ph.D. in 1996 from Chinese Academy of Sciences and spent several years (1997-2001) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of California at Santa Barbara, Clemson University, and Evonyx Inc., New York. He has received several National awards, including National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of China, Distinguished Young Scholars for Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Li Foundation Prize, U.S.A. His current research interests include electroanalytical chemistry and bioanalysis, bioelectrochemistry and sensors, electrochemical materials science and nanoscopic electrochemistry. He has published > 200 total refereed papers including 14 Invited review articles and ten chapters in the books. He serves as  Associate Editor, Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids (Elsevier B. V.); Associate Editor, Science of Advanced Materials (ASP, USA); Guest Editor, Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ASP, USA). Some of his recent research programmes include “Ultrasensitive biomedical sensors based on micro/nanostructures”, “Biosensors based on Nanostructures”, “Smart Electrochemical Sensors” and “Novel DNA Sensors”.
